Mr Cyriac S Pampackal

Cyriac S Pampackal is currently a research scholar at the School of International Relations and Politics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. He is a former Assistant Professor of Political Science on contract at Mar Athanasius College (Autonomous), Kothamangalam, Kerala. He is a former intern at the Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi. He finished his M.Phil. and Maters in Politics and International Relations from the School of International Relations and Politics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. He has presented several papers at various international conferences and national seminars. He has published in several journals and has written several book chapters. He is researching India’s maritime policy in the Indo-Pacific region from 2014 to 2024. His other areas of interest are South Asian geopolitics, National Security and Counter-Terrorism, Environmental Security, India’s Foreign Policy, and International Relations Theory.
